Alice Wells, from Morgantown, WV, began her dance training at Morgantown Dance Studio. At the age of 14, Alice moved to Pittsburgh, PA to train at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School, and later continued her studies at BalletMet and the Atlanta Ballet. Upon graduation from Atlanta Ballet’s Conservatory, Alice danced with the Louisville Ballet as a trainee for two seasons. During her time at the Louisville Ballet, Alice was privileged to dance many corps de ballet roles in ballets such as Giselle, The Brown-Forman Nutcracker, Suite en Blanc, Square Dance, Coppelia, and Western Symphony, as well as a soloist role in Paquita. Since joining MCB, Alice has performed in a variety of pieces including works by Karen Mareck Grundy, Fernando Rodriguez, Penny Saunders, and Sean Aaron Carmon. Alice is looking forward to her third season with Missouri Contemporary Ballet!
