Minh-Tuan Nguyen (Associate Performer) was trained under the direction Diane Lauridsen, Jerry Kokich, and Alicia Head at Lauridsen Ballet Centre in Torrance, California. He also attended California State University of Long Beach and was trained in modern dance under Keith Johnson and Jeff Slayton. He’s performed classical and contemporary works with South Bay Ballet, Kenneth Walker Dance Project, and Milwaukee Ballet II. He performed with Regional Dance of America and was awarded Honors in 2014. He’s performed classical roles in Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Raymonda, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Don Quixote, and Cinderella. He’s also had the privilege to perform contemporary pieces by Petr Zahradnicek, Robert Kelly, Tiffany Billings, Robert Kelly, Jon Cristofori, and Kenneth Walker. He was awarded full scholarship to Milwaukee Ballet’s summer intensive and was invited to join Milwaukee Ballet II under the direction of Rolonda Yanes. Minh-Tuan is excited to start his professional career with Missouri Contemporary Ballet as an Associate Performer.
