Couch Ballet: Episode 6
Episode 6 Coming June 13th!
Episode six will be our final episode of Couch Ballet, so don’t miss it! Our final episode will feature The Big Day, a piece choreographed by MCB Artistic and Executive Director Karen Mareck Grundy. The piece comes from the 2016 Missouri Symphony Collaboration Crushing Perceptions. Following the episode release, there will be a Facebook Live Q&A with Karen Mareck Grundy and several of the MCB dancers who are featured in the performance.

Couch Ballet: Episode 5
Released May 30
Episode five presented May or May Not, a piece choreographed by Autumn Eckman. Eckman choreographed May or May Not during a time of personal transition, as a relationship was coming to an end. The piece is about a relationship, told through the story of three separate couples. It is meant to illustrate wat it is like the transition through a relationship and all the things that are affected when relationship comes to an end.

Couch Ballet: Episode 4

Episode four presented Entrenched, a piece from our 2016 LIVE! performance. This piece was choreographed by Karen Mareck Grundy and Joel Hathaway, and will feature music composed by Ivan Trevino, Paul Lansky and Owen Clayton Condon. The costumes for this piece were designed by Deborah Green.
